65 years of AMF-Bruns - 65 years of innovation
Thank you to our employees, customers and partners!
On the occasion of our 65th anniversary, we look back on the milestones in our company’s history. At the same time, we would like to thank all our employees, customers and partners: Your trust and commitment are the cornerstones of the success we can look back on with pride today.
The first chapter of our success story was written on 1 August 1958, when Gustav Bruns founded what was then “Bruns KG”. Since then we have achieved a lot together: Today, AMF-Bruns GmbH & Co. KG is now owner-managed in the third generation and has achieved an excellent international market position as a specialist in conveyor systems and vehicle conversions for the disabled.
Our group employs around 450 people worldwide and achieved a turnover of more than 100 million euros at the Apen site in 2022. With 20,000 m² of modern production space at our headquarters in Apen and our own production facility for steel construction and welded assemblies in Romania, we are ideally positioned to meet the high demands of our customers.
In 2020, we opened two new chapters: the AMF-Bruns Research and Development Centre, with its state-of-the-art crash test facility, pools our expertise in the field of vehicle safety. In the same year, the AMF-Bruns Foundation was created to support people with disabilities and disadvantaged children and young people in our region.
We have 65 years behind us – and many more to come. We look forward to continuing the AMF-Bruns success story with you. As we will be on holiday on the actual anniversary date, there will be no celebrations on that day. We will celebrate the anniversary in style at our summer party on 25.08.2023.
