Our patented wet chip bunker
With innovative product developments, we help to make our customers’ processes even more efficient and economical. One example of this is the wet chip bunker developed by AMF-Bruns. Compared to conventional chain bunkers with a comb-back system, it offers several advantages: The patented conveyor belt system enables bunkers with a volume of more than 400 m³ to be fed with two chippers simultaneously, which noticeably increases process reliability. Even bunker volumes over 500 m³ can be processed without any problems. Optimal processes in OSB plants are also ensured by the low maintenance and downtimes as well as the extremely material-friendly transport method. These are many plus points that pay off in practice.
