AMF-Bruns offers you a comprehensive portfolio of high-precision metering and shut-off devices. With them, the transported goods can be fed to different process steps in the desired quantity and at the right time, or conveying paths can be reliably shut off.

Our metering and shut-off devices are adapted to the conveyor system with millimeter precision and exactly according to customer requirements, thus ensuring maximum process reliability. Depending on the requirements, we use standard steel, stainless steel, heat-resistant steel or wear-resistant steel as standard materials. Other materials are also possible on request.

Safe thing

Flat slide valve

Flat slide gates are used to close off conveying routes. We manufacture them in sturdy welded steel construction and allow for electromotive, pneumatic and manually operated versions. The slide gate plates are mounted on slide or roller bearings. Wiper seal strips or gland seals close the gate plates to the drive chamber. Possible designs:

completely encapsulated
seal gas purged
water-cooled (for use in the high-temperature range)

One flap, two ways

Interchangeable flaps

Also known as trouser chutes, two-way chutes or diverter flaps, these metering elements distribute goods in two conveying directions in each case by means of a pivoting flap plate operated by electric motor, pneumatically or by hand.

Ideal for free-flowing goods

Rotary valves

Our rotary valves are proven and uncomplicated metering devices that are particularly suitable for free-flowing and finely divided materials. The metering quantity depends on the cell contents and speed. For materials that have a tendency to stick, scraper rotary valves are used. In special cases, we can also control three conveying directions.

Well timed

Double pendulum dampers

These closing elements are used simultaneously to convey goods into or out of closed processes. The two inner flaps close in cycles.
