LIGNA from May 15 to 19, 2023
Our new wet chip bunker attracted a lot of attention
It is the world’s leading trade fair for woodworking and wood processing, with 80,000 trade visitors from 160 countries: AMF-Bruns had a successful presence at LIGNA 2023. Numerous in-depth discussions with customers, new orders and an extremely positive response to our new wet chipboard bunker made the show a success.
An innovation from AMF-Bruns: The Travel Belt System with moving belt system does not require a return comb system and therefore allows a bunker volume that was previously unattainable with conventional methods. Its many advantages include gentle transport and the ability to weigh the material. The main advantage is that wear and tear is extremely low, which means that maintenance downtime is minimal. Another advantage is the modular design of the bunker, which allows for future expansion.
Our apprentices show their skills
To give visitors an idea of how the wet chip bunker works, our trainees built an impressive 1:8 scale model. A real highlight that generated a lot of discussion at the show!
After LIGNA, AMF-Bruns was delighted to receive two new orders worth €1.5 million from existing customers. We would like to thank all our colleagues who actively supported us during the preparations and on site during the five days of the show. Special thanks go to our apprentice team for the successful model. We are already looking forward to the next LIGNA in 2025 – we will be there again!
