Conveyor technology: Solutions for Africa’s growing industries

AMF-Bruns Fördertechnik has been developing and manufacturing high-quality conveying and bulk materials handling systems for industry for 65 years, including screw conveyors, chain conveyors and bucket elevators. The medium-sized family-owned company from Lower Saxony, Germany, is internationally successful and is experiencing growing demand for its products and solutions on the African continent.

In an interview with Lisa Sidorova from the IHK Africa Network Office, Dennis von Horn, Head of Business Unit Sugar and Business Development African Markets, explains which factors are important when identifying potential target markets in Africa and the role of cooperation with local partners.
