New construction in the USA: AMF-Bruns invests in the future
AMF-Bruns builds new plant for US subsidiary – construction progressing according to plan
AMF-Bruns has been successfully active in the North American market since 2013 with its own subsidiary in Hudson, Ohio. Due to continuous growth and limited space in the previous rented building, our company has now decided to take the next step: a new building of its own – and this is progressing rapidly!
The new building complex in Hudson, Ohio, is being built just four kilometers from the previous location and will be tailored precisely to the current and future requirements of AMF-Bruns of America. Following the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony on May 6, 2025, the construction project is proceeding according to plan, with completion scheduled for the end of 2025.
Our new building is currently in an advanced stage of shell construction:
- The building shell is complete.
- Roof work is underway.
- The steel structure for the extension has been prepared.
- Interior work, windows, technical installations, and outdoor facilities will follow in the coming months.
The dimensions of the new location underscore our growth strategy:
- Office space: growth from 300 m² to around 600 m².
- Logistics and production space: Doubling to 4,000 m² – with an option for an additional 2,500 m²
We are consciously focusing on sustainability: a 150 kWp photovoltaic system is planned for the new building – for an environmentally friendly and future-oriented energy supply. This is a clear sign of sustainability, as photovoltaic systems are rather unusual for industrial buildings in this region.
AMF-Bruns also demonstrates social responsibility locally beyond the construction project. We are supporting the barrier-free design of the Heritage House Museum in Silver Springs Park in Stow with a donation – a historic building that was severely damaged by fire in 2023.
With the new building, AMF-Bruns is strengthening its presence in North America and at the same time creating the best conditions for further growth!
