Together on the Move
Greater Quality of Life Through a Wheelchair-Accessible Vehicle Conversion
Some challenges are not immediately visible – and yet they shape the everyday lives of entire families.
Thanks to the support of the AMF-Bruns Foundation, the wheelchair-accessible conversion of a VW Caddy Maxi was made possible. This not only provides a family with greater mobility, but also restores a significant measure of quality of life.
Six-year-old Soe lives with a severe form of epilepsy and a rare genetic disorder. She is fully dependent on care and is unable to sit or hold her head up independently. For her single mother, this means an everyday life filled with care, strength, and great responsibility.
The specially adapted vehicle conversion – including a ramp for the safe transport of her rehabilitation buggy – noticeably eases daily life. Journeys that previously required extensive planning and effort are now simpler and safer.
Above all, however, something invaluable is created: the opportunity to go out together, take part in social life, and experience meaningful moments beyond their own home.
We are grateful to be able to contribute to this. If you would like to learn more about our AMF-Bruns Foundation, please visit our website.
